Edgar Construction Group (ECG) was founded in 1987 and has been providing outstanding service and craftsmanship to Mercer County clients for twenty years. We primarily serve Hopewell, Princeton, and Lawrenceville, as well as other nearby townships.
Allen Edgar, president and owner of ECG, is a lifelong resident of Mercer County. He began the business rehabilitating homes for physically and mentally challenged residents. What began as a business based on increasing accessibility for clients soon grew into a business that incorporated all facets of construction. We now have the ability to address a wide variety of creative projects within the home, weather it is a new kitchen, finished basement for the children, or anew multi level bluestone patio for entertaining with family and friend we can manage the project from start to finish.
When beginning a working relationship with a client, ECG strives to develop custom-tailored plans that incorporate the unique needs and visions of the homeowner. There is always a clear application of creativity- creating spaces that are distinctive and interesting.
Edgar Construction Group was chosen as a participant of the Designer Showhouse and Gardens XIV sponsored by the Junior League of Greater Princeton.
